Dr Sutton looks into Climate Change
Dr Sutton collaborates on the impact of climate change.
Dr Sutton has collaborated with a group of scientists to assess the impact of climate change on over 3,000 plants and animals in the UK, resulting in a scientific paper that was published in the Journal of Biological Conservation in July. In a recent press release, this research was described by Dr James Pearce-Higgins, Director of Science at the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) as “arguably the most wide-ranging assessment of climate change impacts on species so far published in the scientific literature”, and will be used to help decision makers develop conservation strategies for those species that are threatened by our warming climate.
