Labour Market Information for All (LMI)

LMI stands for Labour Market Information, and it means statistics about employment.

LMI is often useful for young people to consider when they are deciding what careers, education and training routes they want to pursue. For example, if someone is deciding between two career routes, they might use LMI to decide which one is more attractive to them.

Unifrog offers LMI within its tools. For example, on the Careers Library’s start page, there is an interactive tool that lets you compare LMI for individual careers with either the UK average, or with another career. LMI is also included in the individual career profiles in Unifrog's Careers Library. Additionally, on the Subjects Library Tool’s start page there’s an interactive tool that lets you compare the earnings and outcomes of graduates across all subjects to 1 or 2 subjects at a time. Other Unifrog tools eg UK universities, College/sixth form, apprenticeships, employer profiles in the Know-How library include LMI as well.
