Students are encouraged to undertake work experience placements. There is a guide to work experience on the Unifrog site (see the Know-How section).

A link to a local business directory is given here which might assist students to find employers to ask about work experience or vacancies.

Year 10s are expected to find a one-week work experience placement, to take place in a specified week in December (usually the second week). The Redborne Careers Department will provide support where possible. 

Year 12 students also undertake a period of work experience to develop skills and inform their future decision-making.
