Technology Faculty

tech blockIn the Technology Faculty we have 10 teaching staff and 3 support staff. The faculty is broken down into a number of departments which include Product Design, Graphics & Electronics, Food & Catering, Child Development, Health & Social Care, and Textiles & Fashion.

In Year 9 students will study Product Design, Graphics & Electronics, Food & Catering, and Textiles. In Years 10 and 11 students study OCR GCSE Product Design, OCR GCSE Graphics, AQA GCSE Electronic Products, WJEC GCSE Catering, OCR GCSE Child Development, and OCR GCSE Textiles Technology.catering In the Sixth Form students study OCR A Level Product Design, AQA A Level Graphic Communication, AQA A Level Food Technology, Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Fashion & Clothing, Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Children’s Care, Learning & Development.

Other information
The faculty runs a number of visits and trips including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Milton Keynes Recycling Centre, and The Clothes Show. The faculty also enters local and national competitions including The East of England Show and The Rotary Technology Tournament.
